Bridgette Jackson
Executive Director
Bridgette Jackson serves as the Executive Director of Washington County Opportunities, Incorporated, Head Start/Early Head Start, bringing over 30 years of dedicated service to the organization. Her journey is a powerful reflection of the program’s mission—having first entered Head Start as a young parent seeking support, she has grown into a respected leader committed to empowering children, families, and communities.
Bridgette holds a Master of Science in Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Mississippi Valley State University, and an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Coahoma Community College. She also earned her High School Equivalency Diploma in Leland, Mississippi. Her educational achievements reflect her deep commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth.
Through her extensive experience and strong educational foundation, Bridgette leads with purpose, compassion, and a deep understanding of the needs of those she serves. She is deeply committed to supporting and developing staff, recognizing that a strong, dedicated team is essential to delivering high-quality services to children and families. She fosters a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and excellence across the organization.
